Our client is an acquisitive middle-market industrial manufacturer seeking an operationally-oriented Chief Financial Officer to work closely with the CEO and private equity sponsors. The CFO will be bring a strategic focus matched with an “in the trenches” management style, with the mandate to build best-in-class financial systems and processes for the organization as it grows substantially. They will also take on due diligence and integration activities in managing the transition of new acquisitions and mergers.

The ideal candidate will be a broadly experienced finance executive ready to take on a leadership role in a middle market organization as a doer/leader, able to will dig into the details, working with a lean staff organization to establish a robust finance environment.  The CFO should have a CPA or MBA, a life-time learner who is self-managed, “in the details” with proven track record of developing high performance accounting and finance teams.

A background in industrial manufacturing and distribution processes will be an asset along with experience driving cultural transformation and process implementation.   Experience working with private equity sponsorship and/or in a leveraged environment will be an asset.
